NexudeIT is opening in two steps. During the open beta, anyone can sign up, open a store, list items for free, message other members, save searches, and join the community. What stays switched off until full launch is anything that takes, commits, or pays out money: checkout, bids, offers, swaps, paid plans, and seller payouts. The only money that still moves is money going back to buyers: refunds, and releases of card holds placed before the beta.
Cancelling still works, with one exception: a buyer can't cancel in a way that would take a cancellation penalty from one of those earlier card holds. If that's you, open a dispute instead, or ask the seller to cancel, which releases the hold in full.
No fees are charged during the beta— not even for listings beyond your free-listing allowance, though beta listings do count toward it — and your account, store, and listings are meant to carry over to full launch without you doing anything. The legal details are in
